Unfortunately, current version of Vimperator doesn’t work with Firefox 47.

It may sometime happen that you forget to disable sound of a laptop and bring it out then the laptop suddenly sounds unexpectedly.

Especially about Mac, it always sounds at starting OS X. It is very annoying so that you may want to disable it.

Here, I corrected some methods to disable such a start up chime.

OS X 10.11 El Capitan adopts new security system called SIP (System Integrity Protection).

This new system affects some applications and some of them can not be used under it. It also affects on Homebrew.

All emails are forwarded to my Gmail account and I send mails by Gmail for these addresses.

Previously, I used Thunderbird and no forwarding was used. But Gmail’s web interface has become so useful, and it is much easier to use it as I can use it with full my settings (especially filters) if only I have a browser.

To add addresses, previously, SMTP server setting was easily by using Gmail’s SMTP server, but recently it was changed a bit.

JavaScript has a function of window.onload = function(), which is executed after the page is loaded.

jQuery also has similar function of $(document).ready(runction()), but they are a little different.

New Brewfile’s command file has been added to Brew-file.

Brew-file has been updated.

The new wrapper function allows you to use some subcommands of brew-file directly as a brew’s subcommand.

Completion functions are also implemented for both Bash and Zsh.

There was a messy point in my Python script: Brew-file, related with ArgumentParser.

I recently noticed that an event tracking of Google Website Translator is no longer available.

What I was changed is the code of Google Analytics: old ga.js code to new Universal Analytics code, analytics.js.

It seems Google Translate code is not updated for Universal Analytics. Here is my attempt to fix it by modifying core codes of Google Translate.

When you want to check your site, normally it is needed to build only your new post. While Octopress has tasks of isolate/integrate to achieve such usage, it needs some manual commands, and there is a risk to push your site with only a new post.

In this post, I will introduce how to speed up rake generate with an easy command, and in safety.

I’m managing Mac’s packages with Homebrew.

To keep own update history or share the settings to other Mac, it is very useful to make a list of packages.

For this purpose, I have developed Bew-file, which is an extension of Homebrew.
